My dog is a 3-year-old neutered female pitbull mix. She is extremely social, but I am certain she has a lot of issues like my other dogs. She is very self-aware, and has been a bit of a handful to the point she has been removed from my daily routine. She often wants to play and be playful, but also get into trouble and have to be picked up.
It’s pretty sad to watch a dog with that much social anxiety. I think if they could learn how to control it, they could be a very productive member of society. I would recommend that they work on a few things for a while, like getting them used to being around other dogs and having them interact with their human counterparts.
